Yesterday, we called out popular UK-based bridal makeup artist @DreamingDahliaa for making #homophobic comments... and we are shocked by her response! Edit: We’re seeing some Islamophobic comments, and that’s NOT ok! One woman using religion to justify her homophobia does not mean that all followers of that faith share her views.

Hey, #Laundrites, hey!👋🏾 Yesterday you called us out on the #EstéeLaundry shirt designs we uploaded on Society6 because of the lack of diversity in sizing and models, and you guys were totally right—we’re sorry! We jumped the gun on launching the shirts because we were really excited about finding a platform to create custom merch with an ethical, sustainable company and without incurring any upfront costs. As you may know, we don’t accept advertising, freebies or sponsorships, and this seemed like a great way to create merch without spending money we don’t have.

We have decided to stop the production of these t-shirts until we find a platform that celebrates the diversity of our following. We have, however, created makeup bags/pouches, fanny packs and stickers for you to get your EL on. Thanks for setting us straight—we love y’all! ❤️ (Please note that we’ve removed the shirt listings from the site but the site takes some time to update.)
